On the record coldest day in Hong Kong in 60 years, we climbed to the top of the Big Buddha, which was commissioned not long ago to attract tourists.

The stairs were covered in ice as we climbed up to this 34-meter high masterpiece.

Nearby the Buddha, many people came to worship other images in a hall made almost entirely of gold.

The stairs and the trees were covered in ice, the mountains surrounded us, and it was a complete contrast to see the beauty of His handiwork next to this 34-meter high statue that so many people could not look away from.
