Cutting the Queue

HZ Group

We woke up on Sunday morning to a beautiful breakfast from our friend Karin. She also had an entire suitcase full of clothes from previous owners that she did not want, and I now own a warm winter coat.

We were thankful to see so many friends over the weekend in HZ.

After a great lunch, we realized we were running late for our train, and ended up cutting in line to get our tickets and running the entire way to our train. Unlike America, lines are usually more like blobs, and people cut in front of others if they need something fast. Chinese people are often (though not always) more flexible and patient when it comes to others, so they will usually let you go in front of them if you really need to. We made it to the train with one minute to spare.

We barely made the train.

We barely made the train.
