On our last day together, we crossed the river and toured the rather intimidating St. Vitus Cathedral and surrounding sites, found some puppets (which my dad would have appreciated), and rested from the cold at a tea place to discuss the complexities of life. We said our goodbyes over our favorite pastry, trdelník (dough coated in sugar and walnuts), before Jane and Mary Kate hopped on the bus to Poland.

“Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.” ~Psalm 34:8
