Brecon Beacons.

On the road in Brecon Beacons, a beautiful part of mid-Wales.

On the road in Brecon Beacons, a beautiful part of South Wales.

You know those free screen savers that they put online where it shows some beautiful but fake, computer-manipulated place?

Yeah, that’s where Helena took me today.

Brecon Beacons is a national park about an hour North of Swansea that could potentially kill someone of a beauty overload.  It is basically as close to heaven on earth as any mountaineer, hiker, runner, and random-person-who-likes-beautiful-places is going to get. Most of the pictures I got from today don’t look real, yet most of them were (haha, just kidding, they all were). It also houses Pen-Y-Fan, which is the highest peak in South Wales.

“The Mighty One, God, the Lord, speaks and summons the earth from the rising of the sun to the place where it sets. From Zion, perfect in beauty, God shines forth.” ~Psalm 50:1-2
