To Asia and Back.

Left Top: Natalie with one of her students.
Middle Top: The X-Country team.
Left Bottom: We had just cross this bridge from the Asian side of Istanbul.
Right Top: Flag of Turkey.
Right Bottom: There were SO many people at the start.

Every year, they close off an important bridge that connects the Asian and European side of Istanbul for a run/walk. Natalie was the cross country coach at the school she was working for, and they closed out their season with this 8k run (it was the kid’s first official run ever). It was completely packed, so we had to get around everyone else to even start running. The kids did such a good job, though, and we finished together in about 50 minutes. You could tell that Natalie had done a great job with the kids–they absolutely loved her. And now I can say that I went to Asia!

“Those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” ~Isaiah 41:31
