Christmas Children.

Jayne (L) and Emmy (R) excited about the Operation Christmas Children shoeboxes.

A little early for Christmas? Well, there’s no Thanksgiving turkeys in the UK to get in the way of a straight shot to ho ho hos and presents, right?

I’m just kidding. Actually, the reason I posted about Christmas presents was because there’s something called Operation Christmas Child that gives presents in a shoebox to children in Africa, trying to build church relations and knowledge of the Gospel. The church I attend here does it, and I think it’s a cool idea. I’ve seen it in the US, as well.

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” ~Isaiah 9:6
