There’s No Place Like Hendrefoelan.

My new room. Excuse the picture skew–I used a wide-angle lens to get it all in.

Hendre-what?

We just moved from the dorms on campus to the student village (I believe it is pronounced Hendra-VOY-lan), where we will be living with 10 other people. The room seems decent-sized, until you realize that they decided to cram nine pieces of furniture into it (a sink (the very edge of it can be seen on the left), an armoir, a bed, two dressers, two chairs, a desk, and a large shelf (on the right where the red coat is hanging)). You cannot see the second chair because it is currently supporting the other side of my bed. Whoever designed the village did not seem to care too much about efficient design–don’t even get me started. 😛

“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. He who was seated on the throne said, ‘I am making everything new!’ Then he said, ‘Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.'” -Revelation 21: 4-5

Love the sheets. Do they remind you of home?

Ha, yes. I was really glad I brought them because the pack they gave us must have had a thread count of about 50.
