Sun Day.

Left: The view from the balcony of the church I went to twice today.
Right Top: I climbed a large hill before church and could see Mumbles, a village near Swansea known for its three peaks.
Right Bottom: The family from church that I ate lunch with and spent the entire day with (Nath, Amanda, Bethan, Emma, and me).

I randomly decided to climb a large–and steep–hill before church because my bus left 1.5 hours before the service began. Afterwards, the Levy family fed me an absolutely amazing meal of lamb, parsnips (which are amazing), swede, blackberry crumble with cream, and a million other fantastic foods I both knew and didn’t know. We hung out afterwards and discussed differences between America and Wales before we went back to church for another service and a going away “snack” for one of the members. I tried a Welsh cake and also a pastry that had a sausage in it.

From 2nd sermon: “God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong . . . Therefore, let him who boasts boast in the Lord.” ~1 Corinthians 1:27, 31

[…] This is from the rather crowded beach a few hours from Ningbo. It reminded me a lot of Mumbles in Wales. […]
